Room to Read - She Creates Change

Room to Read is an education-focused organisation tackling illiteracy and gender inequality around the world. Their multi-media storytelling initiative, She Creates Change, combines award-winning animated and live-action films, illustrated books and audio stories – aiming to reach adolescent girls (ages 12-18) around the world with content and educational curriculum. 

In collaboration with Nexus Studios, a six episode film series was produced, each one highlighting a girls story from Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Tanzania and Vietnam. I worked on Trang, directed by Hannah Lau-Walker. The animation was hand drawn and cleaned up in Flash and After Effects.
